Ne/Re/A's debut track We Conform a high-octane, warbling, EBM-flavored beatdown, her first original production was initially released on Bound NYC's Auricular Discipline I compilation to enthusiastic response. Furtive, an accomplished if elusive DC-based producer, DJ, and promoter delivers a relentless acid-soaked sprint of a remix with warping textures and trancey arps flicker over galloping out-sized kicks.The Dag, a staple of Brooklyn's heavy techno scene, conjures a truly savage, implacable version of monolithic pounding apocalypse-scale kicks and sheets of noise. EVIL DUST's take on We Conform is a high-torque journey that reaches kinetic impact as bits of Ne/Re/A's original whip past in a blur. GIA’s version takes prisoner anyone the other remixes haven’t - her unapologetic, hyper, hardcore reconstruction of We Conform will leave bruises from its juicy kicks, breakbeats, and hooligan attitude. _ \ • / _ EON, creates a blistering, noise-tinged workout from the combusted elements of We Conform. Fresh off of a release on New York Trax, the Brooklyn-based techno machinist sputters pure hardware magic. Gael's remix is a mind-bending, off-kilter funhouse-mirror reimagination of We Conform, featuring irregular, cacophonous percussion and warp doppler shifts of the original. Flood1 from White Material boss ends the remix series with a final dancefloor oriented melodic twist.
